Mark Peecher & Jessen Hobson Awarded Glen McLaughlin Prize for Research in Accounting Ethics
Congratulations to Professor and Academic Director, Mark Peecher and Associate Professor Jessen Hobson. Their paper, “Improving Experienced Auditors’ Detection of Deception in CEO Narratives” co-authored by Bill Mayew and Mohan Venkatachalam (Duke University), has been selected as the recipient of the 2016-2017 Glen McLaughlin Prize for Research in Accounting Ethics from the Steed School of Accounting at the University of Oklahoma.

Peecher named Academic Director of the Center for Professional Responsibility in Business and Society
Mark E. Peecher was named academic director of the Center for Professional Responsibility in Business and Society this summer. He holds the Deloitte Professorship in Accountancy at College of Business, specializing in behavioral auditing and financial accounting research, and has a courtesy appointment with the College of Law. read more

College of Business students, faculty, and staff recently celebrated Deloitte’s multi-year funding and staunch support for the Center for Professional Responsibility in Business and Society.
