William F. Wright is a Zimmerman Scholar in the Department of Accountancy. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University and a PhD. from the University of California, Berkeley. Before coming to Illinois, he taught at the University of Waterloo and the University of California, Irvine, among others. His research interests include judgment and decision-making issues in auditing, especially testing of alternative theories of fraud detection, and in managerial accounting, with concentration on performance evaluation using financial and non-financial measures, and business process improvement using enterprise-level information technology.
