Biographical Sketch

Adel Nematallah Naguib Ibrahim is a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Accountancy. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, his MBA from Governor’s State University, and his Master of Accounting Science and PhD in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Champaign.  Before visiting the University of Illinois, Professor Ibrahim worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Alexandria, Egypt and at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabia.  Professor Ibrahim has appeared on the University’s “Incomplete List of Excellent Teachers” for his quality work with students.  His research interests are in the area of financial reporting, including firm valuation, financial statement analysis, and disclosure issues.
