Global medical solution provider Boston Scientific recently named Camille Chang Gilmore '96 MBA vice president, human resources and interventional cardiology; and chief diversity officer.

"We are very pleased to announce that Camille Chang Gilmore has been promoted to vice president, Human Resources (HR), Interventional Cardiology (IC) and chief diversity officer of Boston Scientific, effective immediately. In this new role, Camille, who is a member of the HR Leadership Team, will continue to oversee HR strategies and programs for the IC business, and her responsibilities will expand to include leading Boston Scientific’s global diversity strategy and initiatives. Camille will continue to report to Kevin on all IC related matters, and will report to Wendy on diversity and inclusion.

Camille’s record of achievement and passion for partnering with leaders throughout the business to attract and develop a diverse talent pipeline make her ideally suited for this role. The diversity team of Lizelle Baylon, Melissa Zwang and Chablee Dos Santos will now report to Camille. The IC HR team of Michele DeCoux, Sheryl Eastman and Breanne Buzay will continue to report to Camille and support the IC business. Brian Wesley, diversity program manager for Talent Acquisition, will work closely with Camille and team.
"Camille has more than 20 years of human resources experience. Prior coming to the medical device industry, she held roles of increasing responsibility in HR at Federal Express, Exxon Chemical Company, IBM and the State of Oregon. She joined Boston Scientific in 2004 as an HR manager supporting Cardiac Rhythm Management’s (CRM) Southeast U.S. sales operation; a year later, she was promoted to HR director. During this time, she was an integral part of the early development of strategies to address the disparities in cardiovascular care for women, black Americans and Hispanics/Latinos through BSC’s Close the Gap initiative in the Southeast region. In 2010, her responsibilities expanded to include overseeing the implementation of HR strategy for the CRM, IC, Peripheral Intervention, Electrophysiology and Corporate U.S. sales organizations. In 2012, Camille transitioned to director, HR business partner, IC, and was dedicated to the business as it moved to a global divisional model.
"Camille is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Camille has been married to her husband Deryk for 20 years and they have two teenage boys, Dantae’ and Deion.
