Semler Brossy Consulting Group, LLC, an independent executive compensation consulting firm, announced that Barry Sullivan has been promoted to a managing director based in the Los Angeles office. In his new leadership position, Sullivan will continue to advise organizations ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to smaller emerging companies and private firms on a range of executive compensation issues, including aligning pay for performance.
Sullivan joined Semler Brossy in 2008 as a principal. Previously, he was a consultant at Mercer Consulting where he developed his skills in human capital consulting strategies. Often sought as an expert in executive compensation, he most recently spoke at the NYSE/Equilar Compensation Committee forum and will present at two upcoming NACD/Directorship events for new board directors. He was honored as the 2012 Author of the Year by WorldatWork for his contributions to Workspan magazine. Sullivan earned his MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and he serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for the university’s College of Business.
