The following message was distributed to the faculty and staff of the College of Business on September 12, 2012.
I regret to inform you of the passing of Professor Kenneth Perry, emeritus faculty member of the Department of Accountancy, who died September 8, 2012 in Champaign. For more than 40 years Ken was an esteemed colleague, mentor, and friend to many in the College of Business. His influence on accountancy and especially those who took his CPA review course is profound and far reaching. It is with gratitude and great respect that we acknowledge his place in our lives and the history of the College. Our condolences are with Ken’s family and friends.
Memorial services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at Meadowbrook Community Church, 1907 S. Duncan Road, Champaign.

In order to allow faculty and staff the opportunity to attend services, the Fall Faculty Meeting previously scheduled for this Friday will be postponed to a later date.
