The
Best Professor in Entrepreneurial Leadership award was
received by Madhu Viswanathan’s field team in India, on his behalf,
at the World Education Congress 2012 on June 29th.

Viswanathan is a professor of business
administration and Diane and Steven N. Miller Professor in Business.

The World
Education Congress was held in Mumbai with a focus on influencing deep systemic
change in the evolving culture of global education and pedagogy. Viswanathan
was identified as a role model and an agent of change.

The
field team of the Subsistence Marketplaces Initiative who attended the event
were R. Venkatesan, S. Sudhakar, K. Vijayakumar, and Jagat Mehta.

The
World Education Congress was attended by senior leaders, top educational
institutes from America, Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and other parts
of the world.
