Marcelo Bucheli, assistant professor of business administration, has won the 2011 Mira Wilkins Prize for the Best Article on International Business History. The prize comes with a $250 award and a memento presented at the Business History Conference annual meeting.
The winning article is titled: “Multinational Corporations, Business Groups, and Economic Nationalism: Standard Oil (New Jersey), Royal Dutch-Shell, and Energy Politics in Chile, 1913-2005.”
Joseph Mahoney, a professor in business administration, shared his views of this prestigious award, “We are very fortunate to have a leading scholar in business history on our Business Administration Faculty. It provides our doctoral students even more options for viable research topics.”
