Teresa D’Urso, the Director of Advising and Registration at the University of Illinois – College of Business, was elected in 2009 to serve a 2 year term as the Commission Chair for NACADA’s Advising Business Majors Commission.
The NATIONAL ACADEMIC ADVISING ASSOCIATION (NACADA) with over 10,000 members – promotes and supports quality academic advising in institutions of higher education to enhance the educational development of students. NACADA provides a forum for discussion, debate, and the exchange of ideas pertaining to academic advising through numerous activities and publications.
