Admission decisions are made by the admissions committee and are based on:
- previous academic accomplishments
- demonstrated potential for graduate and professional success
- TOEFL/IELTS test scores (for International Students)
- Note: The GRE/GMAT test scores are not required for admission
Admissions will notify applicants by email on the notification dates listed with each deadline.
Upon receipt of a completed application, the Admissions Committee will review your documentation according to the dates below. No partial evaluation of incomplete applications will be made. If your application is incomplete, it will be reviewed on the completion date according to the dates outlined below. Priority admission is given to applications received from students affiliated with our partner institutions.

Notification of Admission Decision
The decision of the MS in Business Administration Admissions Committee will be sent by email to the address listed on the application. If the applicant is recommended for admission, the University of Illinois’ Graduate College will evaluate official credentials and financials and send the Notice of Official Admission, produced by the Graduate College Office Admissions and Records, to those approved for admission. For international applicants, this will include financial documentation and visa paperwork, either the I-20 or DS-2019, as necessary to receive a visa to study in the United States.
