Executive Education

Innovative Leadership in a Connected World

A key challenge facing businesses is to enhance their internal capabilities in order to enable the next phase of growth. While firms understand that the ability to innovate is the “secret sauce” of business success, however, organizations struggle with finding and creating innovative people for their organizations. We often hear questions from executives such as: “how do I make our executives more innovative?” or “how do executives come up with groundbreaking ideas?”

The Executive Development Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign trains senior executives and high potential managers to accelerate their personal growth in terms of innovative leadership in their organizations. From intensive one or two-day courses focused on a particular topic of interest to detailed longer-term executive engagement covering a wide range of management topics, our portfolio of executive education programs are designed to advance the career development goals of the executives so that they can position their organizations for sustained future growth.

Custom Engagements with Client Organizations

We specialize in custom engagements addressing the specific business challenges of a particular organization. A Course Director from Illinois will work with the Client organization to co-create and co-develop course modules. Faculty members chosen to deliver the modules will be briefed by the Course Director on the expectations and potential deliverables so as to meet the education needs of the Client.  Our team will also work with you to provide specialized modules to enhance your existing in-house executive development programs.
