Business Week 2018

Join us for Business Week (B-Week) activities celebrating College of Business faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Affairs and supported by the Council of Presidents, B-Week is a series of events including fun social activities, lectures, an international fair, and service projects to bring together the Gies College of Business community. A detailed schedule of events and information on how to register will be shared once details are finalized. WeAreGies!

Monday, April 2 | B-Week Kick-off

B-Week is here!  Stop by the BIF Commons for an exciting give-away and to participate in a creative community building project that you won’t want to miss.

Tuesday, April 3 | Legacy Day

Business Instructional Facility, Atrium/Commons
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Participate in a carnival-style event in the Atrium that will include carnival foods, games, give-aways, and opportunities to learn about the importance of giving back to the College of Business.

Wednesday, April 4 | BIZ Talks

Business Instructional Facility, Deloitte Auditorium
6:00 – 7:00 p.m.

A Ted Talk style event consisting of four brief presentations. The event will be followed by a networking reception in the BIF Atrium with our guest speakers. Come out to hear these exceptional students and professionals share their insight into their success as socially responsible members of the business community!

Thursday, April 5 | International Day

Business Instructional Facility, Atrium/Commons
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Tables showcasing regions of the world, will have activities and food celebrating the diversity represented in the College of Business Student Body.

Friday, April 6 | Community Impact Day

10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

IMPACT Day is a day that College of Business students, faculty, and corporate partners dedicate to making an impact in the Champaign-Urbana area through community service at several local charities. Breakfast, lunch, and a free T-shirt will be provided on IMPACT Day.
