  • The MBA Professional Development series is designed to enhance the experience and knowledge gained by Illinois MBA students in the classroom and through experiential learning opportunities as well as complements the services offered by Business Career Services. The series ensures that students have access to professional and leadership development learning options focused on four primary areas:

  • We offer a comprehensive slate of career and professional workshops and programming from point of admission through to graduation including opportunities to learn from and network with subject matter experts and industry leaders.
  • In order to maximize continuity of engagement and to deepen understanding of individual career goals and aspirations, an individual Career Coach is assigned to MBA students during their time in the program.
  • We provide customized career coaching and consultation for MBA students to help them be the best prepared for the job search with a focus on building life-long job seeking skills that will help the student through each career transition.
  • MBA Career Coaches possess broad-based industry experience and knowledge to facilitate student career planning and employer engagement.
  • MBA students have access to state-of-the-art Illinois Library research facilities and staff as well as a world-class Market Information Laboratory to research and evaluate industries and companies.
