Objectives: The purpose of the MBA Accounting Camp is to introduce accounting concepts that will serve as a foundation for critical thinking and problem solving in MBA 401 and 402. Chris Sulkson, the course instructor, uses active learning methods (e.g., collaborative learning groups) that will enhance your understanding of topics covered in Anthony, R. N., Essentials of Accounting, (Addison-Wesley Publishing Company: Reading, Massachusetts, [6th edition]).  Before coming to class, please read the applicable portions of the Anthony text and attempt the exercises. After class, review using this site, the WWW UI - MBA Accounting Camp. Upon completion of the camp, a student should be able to prepare, understand and interpret the following financial statements: (1) balance sheet; (2) income statement; and (3) statement of cash flows.
