Students who earn James Scholar recognition are characterized by outstanding, consistent academic excellence, achievement outside of the classroom, and reputation for seriousness of purpose, persistence, and self-discipline. The James Scholar Program is the campus’s oldest and most distinguished honors program.  The College of Business is proud of the quality of its James Scholars and its James Scholar Program. Beginning with the freshman class that entered in August 2007, the college significantly changed its James Scholar Program and stresses academic and professional excellence.  The following pages will provide specific information on achieving and maintaining James Scholar honors in the College of Business.
