EXPERIENCE
I have worked as an Academic Advisor in the College of Business since 1997and prior to that I was a Records Officer II in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences for 2 years.I have prior sales experience with Keebler and Procter & Gamble.

HOBBIES
I like to travel and spend time with my family.

BACKGROUND
I was born and raised in central Illinois.

WHY DO YOU LIKE WORKING WITH STUDENTS?
I enjoy having the opportunity to empower students to take an active role in making decisions regarding their courses and degree completion. Ideally, a partnership between the advisor and the students is developed in which self-reliance and independence is fostered.

WHAT MOVIES DO YOU LIKE?
My favorite movies include: The Money Pit, Twister, Home Alone, and Overboard. I have quite a collection of scary movies. I would say my favorite film in my collection is Night of the Living Dead, but An American Werewolf in London is a close second."

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LIKE?
I'm pretty flexible. My daughter even has me listening to Rap and Hip-Hop. I love country music and enjoy listening to the oldies. I'm a big fan of Loretta Lynn and Hank Williams. And yes, I admit that I enjoy disco music.

I have a wonderful husband and daughter.
