Don't
call anyone at the College today after 4:00 p.m.!
If
you do, I hope you get voicemail because the College is
celebrating a landmark event in its history this afternoon.
In
the parking lot across the street from Wohlers Hall, we
will be breaking ground on the new Business
Instructional Facility, a state-of-the-art building
designed by Illinois alumnus Cesar Pelli that will offer
our students a learning environment that is second to none.
The building will also be a home for alumni of this great
institution.
Check
the College home
page next week for some early photos of the groundbreaking
ceremony. Starting in May, you will be able to watch the
progress of construction via our web cam. Located in Huff
Hall, the web cam views the building site from the west.
We are also taking still images to chronicle the various
stages of construction.
Please
visit campus this summer to see the start of the new Business
Instructional Facility. And then visit again in the fall
of 2008 for our grand opening.
Sincerely,
Avijit Ghosh
Dean
