Outlet stores -- both real and virtual -- are an excellent secondary market for excess inventory that has a shorter shelf life because of the mercurial nature of fashion. For the fourth straight year, a team of Illinois MBA students won first place in the NASA Means Business Competition held in Houston, TX. Their innovative ideas struck a chord with the judges.
