College Participating in Key Entrepreneurial Initiatives
Two initiatives -- one a service to current entrepreneurs in Central Illinois and the other a chance to change entrepreneurial education on campus -- were announced this month. CED Announces Partnership with EnterpriseWorks

Alumni Entrepreneur Offers Sage Advice on Start-ups

Dan Kardatzke, who graduated from the College of Business in 1996 with a degree in finance, is a co-founder of Frey Technologies, a company that is developing a personal video recorder called SageTV. July 26: MBA New Alumni Welcome Reception in Chicago
Join the MBA Alumni Association for a reception from 2-5 pm to welcome 2003 Illinois MBA graduates to the alumni world. The event will be at Glascott's on 2158 N. Halsted in Chicago.

September 15 and 16: Career Fair in Champaign-Urbana
The Fall 2003 Business Career Fair will be held in the Illini Union on Monday, September 15, and Tuesday, September 16. Companies may attend either day and tables are $400 each. Business Career Services is now accepting online registrations. http://www.business.uiuc.edu/bcs/
