The average stock undergoing a split outperforms the market by almost 8 percent over the year following the announcement of the split, according to research by Finance Professor David Ikenberry that was recently cited in the online CBS MarketWatch. link to MarketWatch article

General Motors Group Vice President Mark Hogan will present the first Hallene Lecture on September 24 in Urbana.
