New Website has Award-winning Design
The College of Business was awarded a UIUC Campus Webmasters Cool Website award for design at the 2005 Webmasters Forum held on May 4. In April, the College launched its new website with an external focus, a subtle coloration, new navigation, and additional timely links about programs and research.
College of Business webmaster Meagan Hennessey accepted the award on behalf of the College. Ceremony host Jack Brighton of WILL recognized the efforts of Barlow LeVold, assistant director of Chicago programs, who managed the project design for the College, and Melissa Edwards and Doug Burgett in the Office of Publications and Marketing who created the graphic design. Hennessey handled additional development and deployment of the design for the College website.
The annual Webmasters Forum is an important venue for education, collaboration, and dialogue on all aspects of web design, development, and practice at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The annual Cool Websites Awards honor campus sites that represent excellence in categories of design, content, or programming.
