Congratulations to MBA students Volkan Yilmaz, Karan Sinha, Sreekant Vijayakumar, and Nisar Qureshi! The team took top honors in the Fisher Invitational Case Competition at The Ohio State University Max M. Fisher College of Business, held April 10–12.
Each spring, the Fisher Invitational Case Competition (formerly the Big Ten MBA Case Competition) “allows MBA student teams to pit their skills against each other in friendly competition at a professional level.”
Teams analyze a complex business case, identify the company’s challenge, and present recommendations to a panel of judges made up of leaders from the company being analyzed as well as other industry executives.
Schools with MBA teams competing in this year’s invitational included The Ohio State University, Michigan State University, Penn State University, Purdue University, University of Iowa, University of Maryland, University of Minnesota, University of Rochester, University of Wisconsin, and Washington University in St. Louis.
The first-place winners each received a $250 Amazon gift card; Nisar won an additional $100 for Best Presenter.
Way to go!
