Madhu Viswanathan wins outstanding marketing teacher award
The Academy of Marketing Science selected Madhu Viswanathan, professor of business administration, as a 2014 Outstanding Marketing Teacher Award winner. He’ll receive the award at the AMS annual conference May 21–23 in Indianapolis.
Three winners are selected each year for their long-term contributions to marketing education and teaching innovations that are transportable to other instructional settings or institutions. Along with recognizing and rewarding excellence in teaching, the awards provide a forum for outstanding teachers to share their classroom success with colleagues.
The Academy of Marketing Science is an international, scholarly, professional organization dedicated to promoting high standards and excellence in the creation and dissemination of marketing knowledge. It offers a series of conferences and special interest programs and symposia; publishes the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS), a refereed scholarly journal; and creates programs that sponsor future scholars and encourage thought leadership in marketing research.
