MBA Students Score Success at International Case Competition

All teams analyzed the same case during the competition. The case focused on international business strategy, which called on their understanding of functional business disciplines.
Teams of four students used their analytical, decision-making, and communication skills to present strategic solutions and recommendations to a panel of judges from the business community. Teams were judged on the content of its presentation as well as their ability to present arguments and recommendations to the judges.
Corporate sponsors of the competition were Spectrum Brands, Harley-Davidson, and Arrow Financial Services. Five CIBERs were co-sponsors.
Participating schools were Bocconi University, Italy; Chulalongkorn University, Thailand; Copenhagen Business School, Denmark; Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; The Ohio State University; University of Connecticut; University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; University of Washington; and University of Wisconsin-Madison.
