Strategy Volume Added to Campus Library
Professor
of Business Administration Joseph
Mahoney recently provided to the U of I Business and Economics
Libarary (BEL) a copy of his new book Economic Foundations of
Strategy (Sage Publications). The 2005 volume is written for
first-year doctoral students who are interested in learning the
essential tenets of strategy. Topics covered include an integrative
approach, economics and finance, organizational theory, and modern
strategic mangement theory. Mahoney says the in-depth text connects
"know-why" and "know-how."
Mahoney teaches in the MBA and Executive MBA programs as well as
PhD students and undergraduates.
Shown with Mahoney is BEL librarian and associate professor Becky
Smith.
