Phi Gamma Nu Students Pictured in National Publication
Each year, colleges and universities nationwide await the publication of U.S. News & World Report's book on America's Best Colleges. The 2004 edition holds a special place on the bookshelves of some current and recently graduated members of the College of Business: the insdie front cover features the bright and eager faces of students in the Illini chapter of Phi Gamma Nu.
The book is available at bookstores around the country. Among the Illinois programs cited is the College's number one-ranked accountancy program.
Phi Gamma Nu chapters foster the study of business, promote professional competency and achievement in business, and commit to a high standard of business ethics and culture in civic and professional enterprises. The Illinois Beta Pi chapter sponsors business and professional activities and organizes numerous philanthropic projects throughout the academic year.
"We were very excited to see our picture in both the book and the magazine," commented current chapter president Billy Nand. "Phi Gamma Nu prides itself on its professional, philanthropic, and social activites. We were happy to receive recognition in a well-respected publication like U.S. News & World Report."
