The beauty of the ILLINOIS tax curriculum is its close relationship to the people and policies that influence the direction of taxation in business and government. The MS Tax Program in Chicago attracts top executives to its Lyceum Speaker Series who discuss current issues and business cases that may not yet be found in textbooks.

We believe that our students benefit greatly from the lessons of leaders when they hear first-hand of the challenges faced by prominent executives and have the opportunity to ask tough questions. In the context of our classroom environment, discussions reach a level of frankness and strategic detail that students might otherwise not gain exposure to.

The Lyceum Speaker Series is usually held twice per term on Friday evenings in conjunction with a reception and formal dinner. Special invitees also attend, allowing students to network with an elite group of professionals from multiple industries.
