FACULTY PROMOTIONS

MORGAN LYNGE has been promoted to full professor in the Department of Finance. He also serves as associate dean for undergraduate affairs.

Promoted to associate professor are STEFAN KRASA, economics; and CHUNG-MING KUAN, economics.

FACULTY ACHIEVEMENTS
SUSAN I. COHEN, associate professor of business administration, was one of two faculty chosen by the Executive MBA students to receive the EMBA Outstanding Teaching Award for 1995. She was honored at the May 12 EMBA banquet held at the Allerton Conference Center.

MIKE SHAW, professor of business administration, has been awarded a Fullbright Research Scholar Award for spring semester, 1996. He will be studying "The Global Information Infrastructure and Technology Management" at the National Taiwan University.

IRA SOLOMON, KPMG Peat Marwich Professor of Accounting, has been invited to join the editorial board of Accounting and Business Research.

DAVID T. WHITFORD, associate professor of finance, was awarded the Keith E. Sawyer Service Award for 1995 by the EMBA class. This service award is named in memory of Keith Sawyer, controller for plant operations at L&F Products and a member of the EMBA class of 1984. Keith, who died in November 1994, was active in the EMBA Alumni Association (president from 1984-87) and the Commerce Alumni Association.
