2nd Annual Hustle for Humanity
Presented by
The Council of Presidents
& the University Of Illinois College Of Business

The Council of Presidents is a partnership of 23 registered student organizations representing the 3,000 students of the College of Business.  In an effort to increase collaboration among these organizations and promote philanthropy in the local community, a charity 5k run/walk was established in 2009.  In the inaugural year the Council was able to donate over $3,000 to the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.  Encouraged by our early success, the decision was made to make the event an annual undertaking.

The 2nd Annual Hustle for Humanity will be similar to the first.  The event will take place on Saturday, April 24th at the University of Illinois Arboretum located along Lincoln Avenue.  Registration will begin at 9:00 AM and the race will begin at 10:00 AM.  Depending on registration numbers, two separate heats may be run.

Team Competition

This year a new twist has been added to the run.  In addition to individual competition based on age and sex, a team competition has been established.  Teams of five runners will compete for the title of 2010 Hustle for Humanity Team Champion.  Four of the team’s five recorded times will count towards a total race time for the group.  Team registration is $50.00 in addition to the five team member’s individual registration fees.  The winning team will receive a trophy as well as individual medals for the members.

We hope that you will join us the morning of April 24th to support this effort.  All registration fees go directly to the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.  Please come out and participate in a fun and charitable event.
