Denise Maple, Finance Alumna
First Vice President, LaSalle Bank
Denise Maple's degree in finance from the University of Illinois has served her well.
She started her career at LaSalle Bank as a credit analyst and broadened her knowledge in middle-market and corporate lending by seeking opportunities to add to her skills. Today, she trains credit analysts in LaSalle's commercial lender training program.
Maple selected banking as a career because of Professor Morgan Lynge, one of the College's outstanding faculty. Active, involved, and engaged, Illinois faculty are tireless supporters of students, both inside and outside the classroom. College clubs, organizations, and fraternities offer Business students leadership and networking opportunities and lifelong friendships.
The almost 50,000 alumni of the College of Business are leaders of companies and organizations around the globe. These loyal Illini form a network of professional and personal contacts for current students and fellow graduates. The College regularly brings alumni and students together for professional development and social gatherings on and off campus.
