Financial Support
All admitted students receive financial support, either in the form of a fellowship or through employment as a research or teaching assistant, in combination with tuition and service fee waivers. Most first year students receive fellowships, while in subsequent years support typically comes through research and/or teaching assistantships. Students who:
- are making satisfactory progress in the program; and
- have performed at an acceptable level in previous RA and TA appointments
can expect to receive support for up to five years. After five years, financial support is sometimes available through research and teaching assistantships.
