The Department of Finance boasts an elite faculty with eight chairs or named professorships. The research productivity of the faculty was recently ranked in the top 15 among all universities worldwide.
The department prides itself on generating path-breaking research without sacrificing the quality of teaching. Several of the faculty have won university-wide teaching awards, and such awards in the College of Business are often dominated by finance faculty.
