Business Career Services is your advocate with recruiters and employers.
All students in the College of Business receive support in their job search from Business Career Services.
In addition, Business Career Services provides guidance to students in preparing their resume, preparing for interviews, and developing a job search strategy. They coordinate a Business Career Fair and Recruiters Reception, organize skill development workshops, and host seminars featuring corporate recruiters. Principls for Professional Conduct
As part of the
University of Illinois Career Services Network, Business Career Services subscribes to and supports the "Principles for Professional Practice" of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).
The Principles for Professional Practice include principles for Career Services Professionals, Employment Professionals, and Third-party Professionals. It includes and emphasizes the statement that "Serving alcohol should not be part of the recruitment process on or off campus. This includes
receptions, dinners, company tours, etc."
