Kevin Fertig
Adjunct Lecturer of Business Administration
Kevin Fertig brings over thirty years of business and professional management experience to his consulting practice, Nelson Walsh Associates, Inc. He has held positions in private industry, university executive education and has extensive consulting experience.
He served as director of the Executive Development Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, 1995-1996. He was responsible for the development, marketing, and overall operation of programs for executives from around the world, including appointing the first full-time coordinator of the China Management Program. Additionally, as director of the Executive MBA Program from 1983-1996, he recruited over 500 executives from throughout central Illinois and Indiana. While he was director, Business Week magazine ranked the UIUC program as one of the best in the U.S. He also was a charter board member and later chairman of the Executive MBA Council, an international organization of Executive MBA Program directors.
He holds B.S. in management from Northern Illinois University. He earned an MBA from the Executive MBA Program at the University of Illinois. He also completed advanced graduate studies in strategic management at UIUC, where he is currently an adjunct faculty member in the College of Business.
