1- Online courses in the Fall of 2012

(Click on the title to hear the instructor's introduction and find more details about the course)

2- How  to succeed in a fully online course

These courses target College of Business students while they are in their Study Abroad experience. This is probably your first experience as online student, and it is important that you are ready for this experience. Learning online may be more convenient but the time commitment,  responsibilities and type of work demanded in an online course is very similar to a face-to-face course.  For starters, think about these questions and if can respond "yes" to all or most of them, then you are ready to have a great online experience:

1. Are you comfortable interacting with others and doing classwork in a web based environment?
2. Are you self-motivated to complete tasks?
3. Do you have good time management skills?Back to top

5. Do you feel comfortable when most communication  happens by reading and writing?

We would also like to provide you with some information of what it means to be an online student, and a choice of self-tests to see if Online Learning is a good fit with your learning style, or what things you should be paying attention to, to make your experience a very successful one.

3- Access to your online course

The online courses use the new learning environment at the U of Illinois: IL Compass 2G.
