Legacy Committee Members
President
Andrea Pavone is a senior majoring in Accountancy and minoring in Spanish from Burr Ridge, IL. On campus, she is actively involved with Business Council and is a Learn-to-Skate and Kinesiology 104 instructor at the UIUC ice arena. For two summers, she interned at Aurora Investment Management, LLC in Chicago in trading administration and corporate accounting. She will further her work experience at KPMG, LLP this winter as an audit intern. She is the President of Legacy this year and looks forward to unite the Senior Class of 2012 as well as distinctively define our class’s Legacy in the College of Business.
Executive Committee
Elissa Boswell is a senior studying Marketing and International Business from Morton, Illinois. On campus, Elissa has served in leadership roles within Business Council and her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta. Elissa is so excited to be leading the Gift Development efforts and can't wait to leave her legacy at the University of Illinois College of Business.
Patrick O’Malley is a senior studying accounting from Tinley Park, IL. On Campus, he is active in Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and is a member of the Orange Krush Foundation. Pat was a Corporate Finance Intern at the CME group in 2010 and interned at KPMG, LLP in audit this past summer. He will further his work experience with KPMG in fall of 2013 as an audit associate. He is excited to run the Faculty and Education committee this semester, and he’s eager to build interest in the campaign and to make sure that it’s a sure success.
Trisha Phadke is a senior majoring in Accountancy and Finance from Schaumburg, IL. This past summer she interned at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and received the opportunity to travel to London for 3 weeks as a part of her internship. On campus, Trisha serves as Phi Gamma Nu Professional Business Fraternity’s External Vice President and is a Business 101 Section Leader. She traveled to China through the Business Honors Program after freshman year, and then studied abroad in Hong Kong for a semester thereafter during sophomore year. This year, Trisha will assist Legacy as the Vice President of Special Events and she is excited to foster senior class unity!
Committee Members
Christine Ward is a senior in Accountancy from Wheaton, IL. She has been involved in several organization on campus including serving at the President of Business Council, Recruitment Chair of Chi Omega Sorority, and is a member of the Business Honors Program and also had the opportunity to study abroad in Paris, France. Next fall, Christine will begin work full time at PwC in Chicago but is currently looking forward to serving on the Legacy Committee to unite the incredible senior class of 2012.
Colleen McGinnis is a senior from Tinley Park, IL studying Marketing and Management. Currently, she is involved with Phi Chi Theta Professional Business Fraternity serving as Vice President of Membership. For the past two summers, she has interned with Robert Bosch, LLC in the communications department. Colleen is very excited to be apart of the PR committee in order to bring awareness to the campaign and reach our goal for the 2012 senior class gift.
Eric Schultz is a senior majoring in Finance and Accounting. He is from Shorewood, IL, which is a far southwest suburb of Chicago. This past summer he interned at KPMG, where he worked in the Financial Management practice. On campus, Eric is active in the Finance Club, of which he has been president for the past two years. Eric is looking forward to another successful Legacy campaign!
Grant Stoffle is a senior majoring in Accountancy from Homewood-Flossmoor, IL. This past summer he interned at BMW of North America as a marketing intern and will be interning at Baker Tilly this upcoming summer as an audit intern. On campus, Grant is actively involved as the President of the Illinois Evans Scholars House and is an active member of Business Council serving on the Charity Fundraising committee. He is also a Business 101 Section Leader this year. Grant is pumped for this year's 2012 Legacy Campaign and is looking forward to uniting the senior class!
Kellie Kinsella is a senior in Accounting. She is from Palatine, IL. On campus, she is very involved with her sorority, Pi Beta Phi where she served as President in 2010. She is a member of the Business Honors class of 2012. She is also a member of Business Council where she has served on numerous committees. She also works in the College of Business Undergraduate office as a front desk secretary. She interned at BDO, USA in their tax department last summer and this coming summer she will be interning for PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Risk Assurance practice. Kellie is very excited to be on the Legacy Committee as she is looking forward to giving back to the College of Business.
Kyla Kelly is a senior in marketing and business process management. She is from Chicago, Illinois and attended Marian Catholic High School. On campus, she is heavily involved with Business Council as the Vice President of Operations as well as a Chick Evans Scholar, and a Business 101 Section Leader. In her spare time, she tries to get very involved with the recruiting and fundraising efforts of the undergraduate office in the College of Business. This past summer, she interned in sales and strategy at Google, and will be continuing full-time with the corporation as an Account Manager in Mountain View, California.
Lavanya Rao is a senior majoring in Accountancy and Finance from Canton, Michigan. On campus, she currently serves on the executive board of Phi Gamma Nu Professional Business Fraternity as well as is a former partner of OTCR Consulting. She spent the past summer interning at 3M Corporation as a corporate finance intern. Lavanya is excited to be a part of the Legacy campaign for the upcoming year and give back to the College of Business.
Liz Barnett is a Senior from Glen Ellyn, IL. She is majoring in Accountancy with a minor in the Environmental Fellows Program. She plans to complete her Masters of Accountancy next year. Liz spent the past summer working at Sears Holdings Management Corporation as Environmental Sustainability Intern, and will work as an audit intern at Deloitte this coming summer. On campus, she has served as one of the founding members of TOMS Shoes Campus Club and a member of Entrepreneurs Without Borders. Liz is very excited to be a part of the 2012 Legacy Campaign.
Maureen Breseman is a senior from Addison, IL majoring in Accountancy and Information Systems/Information Technology. Last summer, she was a Risk Assurance intern at PwC and will be starting there full time upon graduation. Maureen studied abroad in London, United Kingdom during her junior year and hopes to return there one day. On campus, Maureen is actively involved on Business Council, and previously represented the College of Business as their Student Senator. In addition, Maureen is a member of Pi Beta Phi women’s fraternity. She is excited to join the Legacy Campaign and give back to the College of Business.
Juniors
Billy Tabrizi is a Junior in Accountancy from Vernon Hills, IL. Last summer, Billy interned as a Compliance Analyst Intern at BP for Integrated Supply & Trading. Next summer, Billy will be interning as an Audit Intern for Deloitte in Chicago. On campus, he is a member of the College of Business Honors Program. He serves as President of Business Council, is the Course Manager and a Section Leader for Business 101, and the Vice President of Orthodox Christian Fellowship. He also teaches Sunday School every week and gives campus tours. He is excited to serve the Legacy Campaign as a Junior and be part of unifying both the classes of 2012 and 2013.
Chelsea Aulis is a junior majoring in General Management with a minor in Technology & Management. She is from Yorkville, Illinois. Chelsea is actively involved through the College of Business serving as a Section Leader for Business 101. She has also served as the committee chair of the College Ambassadors committee in Business Council for the past year and is responsible for coordinating the Shadow Program for high school seniors visiting the College of Business. This past summer, Chelsea interned at Robert Bosch on the SAP Implementation Project Team. She is excited to help support the Class of 2012 in reaching their fundraising goals for the year!
Jim Cummings is a junior majoring in accounting and finance from Orland Park, IL. On campus, he is a member of Business Council and a resident advisor at Bromley Hall. This upcoming summer Jim will be interning for Deloitte in their audit practice. He is excited to give back to the College of Business through the Legacy Campaign.
Taylor Baron is a junior from Deerfield, Illinois, studying Marketing and International Business. She spent her spring semester interning for Marathon Oil and spent the summer backpacking Europe. On campus, she serves as the Vice President of Membership for Alpha Kappa Psi. Taylor is extremely excited to be a part of the Legacy Campaign and is already looking forward to next year.
