Management Development Associates (MDA) gain broad exposure to the S&CL organization through a combination of diverse rotational assignments and formal training. They are sponsored by a strong network of senior leaders and fellow MDA's. Through these dynamic experiences and relationships, participants will hone their leadership capabilities and analytical skills to become a vital member of this world-class organization.
During the 18 month program, MDA's will participate in 4 distinct rotational assignments which include experiences in direct selling, people management, sales analytics and customer management.
Sales Leadership Associate at Coca-Cola
The Sales Leadership Associate role will expose you to many areas of Coca-Cola Refreshments operations including manufacturing, sales, and distribution. Participants will follow a structured onboarding plan complete with one-on-one sales leadership training with a Rotational Manager and Coaching Peer, and start their first year rotation as an On Premise Manager. Upon graduation of the program, participants will be eligible to apply for a District Sales Manager position.
Business Management Associate with General Mills
In your first 12-18 months on the job, the focus is building a solid foundation of knowledge regarding business, systems and practices that you can build upon in your future positions. Key responsibilities include: Analysis of Key Business Issues, provide sales support by gathering monthly data and creating top-line summaries for Field Sales, facilitate communication between our field sales, corporate business development teams and our marketing organization, develop key internal marketing and sales tools to enhance communication processes, develop foundational selling skills and begin building product knowledge, introduction to food shows and opportunities to do "ride-alongs" with field sales, and learn who your resources are and how they can help you get your work done.
