☐ Get involved. Join at least one campus or business organization
☐ Prepare a résumé (in BUS 101 class)
☐ Fulfill requirements to open I-Link Business account; logon to I-Link Business regularly
☐ Attend workshops on résumé writing and career fair success
☐ Attend fall and spring Career Fairs
☐ Attend Employer Forums and Company Information Sessions
☐ Register for the Job Shadow Program on I-Link Business
☐ Complete a BCS placement survey

Sophomore Year   >>   Goal: Begin career search process
☐ Update your résumé and I-Link Business profile
☐ Join a committee of at least one campus or business organization
☐ Attend fall and spring Career Fairs
☐ Apply for internships on I-Link Business starting fall semester
☐ Attend Career Development Workshops, Employer Forums, and Company Information Sessions
☐ Participate in on-campus interviews starting fall semester
☐ Sharpen interviewing skills. Sign up for a mock interview with an employer or BCS staff member
☐ Register for the Job Shadow Program on I-Link Business
☐ Investigate career related experiences through internships, job shadow, and volunteer work
☐ Complete a BCS placement survey

Junior Year   >>   Goal: Obtain an internship
☐ Update your résumé and I-Link Business profile
☐ Gain leadership experience in a campus or business organization
☐ Schedule an Employer Résumé Critique and a mock interview with BCS and a company
☐ Apply for internships on I-Link Business starting fall semester
☐ Attend fall and spring Career Fairs
☐ Attend Career Development Workshops and Company Information Sessions
☐ Attend Employer Forums to develop recruiter contacts
☐ Participate in on-campus interviews starting fall semester
☐ Regularly check I-Link Business job board and corporate websites starting fall semester

Senior Year   >>   Goal: Obtain a full time position

☐ Meet with a BCS adviser to discuss career search plan
☐ Schedule an Employer Résumé Critique and a mock interview with BCS and a company
☐ Utilize I-Link Business to actively participate in on-campus interview starting fall semester
