Student entrepreneurs who participated in the Illinois Launch 2010 Summer Startup Development Program have been developing their business throughout the summer. The students demonstrated the fruits of their labor on Demo Day, when they presented their pitches and received constructive criticism and final words of advice before potentially presenting to investors. All guests were asked to evaluate the presentations and voted for the finalists who then received one additional opportunity to pitch to all guests.  Illini Prosthetics Team, Green Purpose, UTicketIt, and Tiesta Tea were the four finalists. Among them, Illini Prosthetics Team received the highest score to become the most promising startup.
