Dr. Karen Bantel, Special Assistant to the President of Michigan State University and the former Managing Director of the University of Michigan's Zell Lurie School of Business, visited University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in December 2009. She advised the President of Michigan State University about ways in which they can make the culture of the university more entrepreneurial.  During her visit, she met with the Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership and several faculty fellows to learn about AEL’s mission, programs, and its values across campus.
