Brian Lilly Brian Lilly is the founder and president of Smart Solutions, Inc., which manufactures and sells innovative products he designed for the outdoor recreation and vehicle industries. He is also the founder and vice president of Ergo-Tech, Inc., a company manufacturing and selling a patented line of industrial equipment throughout North America. Ergo-Tech’s clients include major companies like Boeing, General Electric and Harley Davidson. Lilly received his B.S. and M.S. in General Engineering, and his Ph.D. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Lilly has applied his expertise in both the industry and in the classroom. He is an adjunct associate professor in Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering at the Technology and Entrepreneur Center (TEC) at the University of Illinois, and he mentors student business teams through the TEC startup incubator. Dr. Lilly’s vast knowledge of both engineering and entrepreneurship has been influential in his students’ pursuits. He has given students the tools to help them create the products and businesses of tomorrow. |
