INSTRUCTOR AND COURSE EVALUATIONS
The Department of Accountancy employs the campus-wide instructor and course evaluation system (ICES) as one element in managing instructor assignments to courses and in evaluating instructor teaching effectiveness.
For each section of all accountancy courses, all instructors of accountancy courses shall have their students complete an ICES survey that includes Department-defined items and shall indicate on the ICES request form that the faculty member releases his/her ICES reports to the Head of the Department of Accountancy.
The Department also employs its own evaluation system for NCTAs (Non-Classroom Teaching Assistants). Each accountancy instructor assigned an NCTA shall complete the Accountancy Teaching Assistant Performance Evaluation Form at the end of each semester.
