Faculty Conversations


This program has been a popular series. Most recently, this group read Bain’s What the Best College Teachers Do; Gardner’s Five Minds for the Future, and Sawyer’s Group Genius. This year’s book is Derek Bok’s Our Underachieving Colleges: A candid look at how much students learn and why they should be learning more.

Faculty Conversations is an opportunity for discussion and sharing of ideas. We will meet on Wednesdays, 11:30-1:00, with lunch provided. The meetings begin February 9, in 370 Wohlers. Please contact Kari Smith (3-2330 or smith21@illinois.edu) to reserve a spot.
