Positions
The Department of Finance at the University of Illinois invites applicants for regular, full-time (open rank) positions to teach and conduct research in any area of finance, but with specific interest in investments and asset management, corporate finance, financial engineering and risk, insurance, banking and real estate.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Teach at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels
Conduct research in Finance and/or Financial Engineering
Advance intellectual environment through scholarly service.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates at advanced ranks must possess a PhD degree; candidates for assistant professor must possess or be near completion of a PhD degree.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness
- Strong research skills and potential
Salary
Salary will be commensurate with rank and experience; salary and research support are competitive.
Appointment Status
Tenured or tenure-track.
Proposed Starting Date
June 16, 2013 or August 16, 2013 (negotiable).
